Club House access: At this moment, the access to the Club House is not permitted by the City of Toronto rules and regulations unless there is a strict protocol in terms of regular cleaning and disinfection. We will continue to monitor the recommendations and adjust accordingly.

Conflict Resolution Procedure

The following is conflict resolution procedure at Dunlace Tennis Club:

  1. Any conflict at the Dunlace Tennis Club by members needs to be brought to the attention of the Dunlace Tennis Club Conflict Coordinator Yalcin Suer who will set up a meeting with the involved individuals to mediate and help to resolve the conflict.
  2. Parties involved need to clearly articulate the conflict to the Conflict Coordinator and any transgressions will be clarifies per the rules of the Dunlace Tennis Club.
  3. The conflicting parties, with the mediation of the Conflict Coordinator, seek to agree on a definition of the conflict where each party understands the other party’s position.
  4. The rules of the Dunlace Tennis Club will be the guide in resolving the conflict.  If there are no clear rules for the situation in hand, Conflict Coordinator will strive to bring the parties to a common understanding using the existing rules of the Club.
  5. If necessary, Conflict Coordinator will seek a decision from the Executive of the Club and inform parties about the decisions taken to remedy the situation.
  6. The end objective is to find the appropriate compromise among the conflicting parties and the Club Executive.
  7. Decision of the Club Executive is final.
