Rules
In order to provide an equal opportunity for tennis play to all our members, Club established a rules that all members and their guest should follow. Below are the highlights of the most important rules. For the complete list of rules, please refer to the link provide:
Membership & Playing Hours
- Dunlace Park Tennis Club (DPTC) is a Members Only non-profit community hard Court Tennis Club, entirely run by a volunteer Executive.
- Adult playing hours are 8am to 11pm Monday to Sunday, subject to organized activities (house league, tournaments, social events, tennis programs).
- Junior playing hours are 11am to 6pm weekdays and 8am to 6pm Saturday & Sunday. Junior members can play after 6 PM with one adult member for a maximum of 60 minutes subject to schedule of organized activities.
- Guests are permitted to play subject to following all the Rules & Regulations and payment of a $12 fee per day, per guest. Each guest is limited to a maximum of 5 days for the season. Under special circumstances, guests might not be permitted to play at the Club.
- Public hours at DTC are from 12pm to 3pm Saturday/Sunday.
- Tennis courts are to be used exclusively for playing tennis.
Court Booking
- When a monitor or Club Execs are on duty, court booking is coordinated by them.
- Play time is 60 minutes for singles and up to 120 min for doubles, controlled by the clubhouse clock placed in the Club window. An automated buzzer will go off at the full hour indicating the time to change players on the courts.
- Courts are booked through online booking system.
- Use of the online booking system is mandatory at all times. Members can only play on a court they booked.
- There will be specific limits in terms of number of bookings allowed per club member. The limits will depend on the number of club members and will be adjusted to facilitate an equal court time allocation. Booking limits will be clearly published on our website and will be visible while booking.
- Drop-ins are not allowed during Club hours of operation.
