This summer the Doug Philpott Inner City Children’s Tennis Fund will be operating 16 sites and welcoming almost 7,000 children into the program. Their goal is to one day be able to give a take-away racquet to each camper in the program. To accomplish that, Doug Philpott Inner City Children’s Tennis Fund is asking for your help with donation of your used tennis racquet.
During the month of May, a collection box will be placed in our Dunlace Tennis Club where you will be able to leave your used tennis racquet and help less fortunate children in this wonderful game of tennis. If you are coming for the opening event on Sat, May 2nd, use that opportunity to donate the racquet and receive a donation button as recognition for your help. The donation box will be available for donations till the end of May.
